Prompt 29 – Wonder
A Child’s Mind
A baby blue sky
and soft puffy clouds.
They look so comfy,
perfect for nap time.
How did it get there?
Will it all fall down?
The strong little ant
holds my fallen crumbs.
He never stops work.
He walks off so fast.
How does he lift things
when he’s just so small?
Pretty flowers grow
all over the yard.
Some make people sneeze,
some make them smile.
How do they grow up?
Why so colorful?
Will I know it all?
My attempted take on a child’s wonder of nature. I hope it’s right-ish.
