I don’t know if it’s just me, but this past week felt like it was moving slow as could be. I woke up on Tuesday and went, “Wait, it’s not Friday yet!?” A slow moving week for me, it yes, like watching grass grow. The hours inched by as I did my day to day work, and not to say I didn’t enjoy it (cause I do like having more time than expected), but it moved super slow. Slower than molasses doing anything!
Random side note for you all: Whenever anyone uses the expressions, “You’re moving slower than molasses!” or “You’re moving slower than molasses going uphill on ice!” I just picture this huge blob with eyes and a mouth of living, breathing molasses looking kind of sad and trying to move fast, but sluggishly crawling along. I should draw that! Anyway…
My week dragged, but it wasn’t horrible. I’m still laptop-less which is annoying, but also at the same time liberating. I don’t have time to read as many posts as I like, but I get to spend more time writing, practicing drawing, reading books, and doing stuff around the house with the distraction of going online to pointlessly surf the web. Yay for doing more outside my internet presence!
In other news, this Wednesday I should be posting the second issue of Cafeteria Lady and BookWorm, but it may be a little later than I’d like it to be, but it will be there.
Don’t forget about my HOW DARK CAN YOU GO CHALLENGE for the month of March, which since I started it so late will extend into the first week of April, but it’s your personal challenge, you don’t have to do it, and if you do, you don’t have to show me anything or post it on your blog.
Here’s a little something I drew:
It was basically what my avatar looked like on Gaiaonline, before I just stopped going. It was my first ever attempt to draw my avatar. I find it okay, but not great.
Another thing I drew, this time just for fun when I was bored on my slow moving week…
It was my Yay-I-have-sparkly-crayons-and-this-cool-black-paper-and-I-really-have-nothing-else-I-feel-like-doing-so-I’ll-do-this thing. And that’s it for this update.
Stay tuned, minions of mine.
