Today while I was stopping at a shopping mall to drop off some applications, I looked from the car and saw this group of friends. Yeah, fine, whatever. They were teasing each other and doing all things people think are cool when they’re young (disregard that this statement is coming from a young person). So then as I get out of the car, these two girls hop on their friend’s car (one on the hood and one on the trunk) as he’s putting his car in reverse. And these chicks weren’t super model thin (or to be blunt remotely thin). But you know what, if you’re comfortable in your body, no matter how big or small I respect that. Her weight isn’t an issue, but what this girl wore was. And believe me, as someone who isn’t thin or skinny herself, I can understand walking around with some fat on, but that doesn’t mean I try to wear everything that looks good.
This girl was wearing a skin tight shirt, that didn’t reach all the way down to where her jeans were and her jeans (even with a belt) were low enough that she needed to pull them up. Your body is your business but what you wear makes a difference, and when this one girl got on this guy’s trunk, I saw a lot of exposed lower back fat. Personally, as someone who has fat on my stomach and hips, and thighs, I don’t want people to see all that. I know some people just don’t care, but really, you should have some decency! If you are big in the chest area please don’t squeeze yourself into a tube top. If you have a muffin top and you’re okay with it, I’m okay with it, but please don’t show me your stomach, I’m not okay with that. I ask myself why are people wearing these things, and even skinny girls, why are they dressing so skimpy now? What happened!? I don’t need someone who looks half dressed to help me at a store! Really!
Anyway…moving on to what truly scared, me…the hopping on a moving car! That’s something you have total control over and that’s just stupid! Where did people’s I.Q.s go in the past ten years??? I’m all for having fun with my friends and hopping around thinking I’m hot stuff, but that doesn’t give you the excuse to jump on your friend’s car. No one’s invincible. And then the dude in the driver’s seat is leaning out his window playfully yelling, and going back and forth from reverse to drive. Kids these days! I’m over 18 but younger than 27, so I don’t have years of life experience on me like some of you do, but I’m almost positive this is not a smart activity to indulge in.
Anyway, I was originally going to talk about writing my stories and such on FictionPress, but that rant just wouldn’t go away, cause I’m afraid for people….what do you think of that?
