So…without my laptop working, I’ve been thrown off…a very, very high ledge. I’ve been lazy with posting these last few weeks, because of the effort to work around my family on this computer. In a way, I want to put posting on hold, but God knows when I’ll get a laptop and by then, it might be too late! So…I’m working on this here
Along with that, I openly love anime, and without my laptop, I haven’t been able to watch any on Hulu or YouTube, which is depressing, and trying, and really very annoying. I’m afraid if I wait too long, I won’t know what’s going on soon in my shows. Like right now, I’m watching Sailor Moon again, this time English subbed instead of dubbed. Which is great! But I’m fairly early in the series. I know that soon I’ll forget what’s going on. And I just keep adding more and more to watch to my list. It’s heartbreaking!
On another note…I’ve been doing a lot of reading. And well, I recently took out the book Elixir by Hilary Duff from the library. Why? Because, you know, I loved that girl…when I was little. So I read this book, and I love a great love story, especially when the couple are soulmates and it’s true love and all that, but honestly…there’s something wrong with these writer’s of teen romance novels. All the guys must be dark and brooding while all the girls come off as needy and miserable when they’re away from the love of their lives. Are there any strong female teen characters out there in romance novels. Teen girls are going to be screwed in a few years. Needless to say, I wasn’t impressed, and I won’t take out the other book…maybe.
But on a good note…tonight, I saw Iron Man 3! Oh yeah! It was great! I enjoyed it, despite it’s shortcomings. I’ve heard some people say it was better than The Avengers, but I think not. It was great though, in that we got to see more of the man. And, the after credits scene was awesome. I’m totally buying this movie!
Random thought to point out…I’ve been listening to this song, and I don’t know why, but I just feel like I need to keep listening to it. Maybe it has some kind of deep rooted meaning to my subconcious. Anyway, it’s called Breezeblocks by Alt J, and boy, am I making great use of that replay button. One day I’ll get over it.
Anyway, going back to the point of this post, I need more anime!!! I’m feeling like a wreck without it and soon, Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro won’t cut it! On the small bright side, I have a job right next to a Barnes and Noble, so instead of saving up for that laptop, I’ll be buying the Sailor Moon manga, cause, yes, I need it, and it’ll hold me over. Besides, it’s more magical feeling in the end. And I’ll buy some of those anime series, I’ve wanted. Take that laptop!
Good night all!
