It was a very scary moment! I’m temporarily living with friends of the family (like they’re my grandparents age, and watched my mom when she was little and their daughter babysat me when I was little) and Jay, the husband of the household (who’s become a second dad I swear) said that to me in the middle of the night. I went to use the bathroom, didn’t turn a light on, heard a creak and asked “who’s there?” Then he said that and turned on the light for me. Haha I was scared and laughing.
But anyway, it’s about that time of year where everything’s coated in horror. And I can’t wait. As jumpy and easily scared as I am, I love scary things. I do horror mazes and haunted houses, and watch way too many horror movies late at night. In a way, that’s why I did Nightmare Chasers in the first place. They deal with scary creatures, and scary’s fun to write about. In poems too.
So I believe I have this posting thing down. Sundays are Poem Day, every other Friday I post a new chapter of my story (which I swear will be back soon), and then nothing. I’ve decided that on Mondays I’ll post something fun (since it’s such a drag of a day) and on Wednesday I’ll post book reviews. (And no, there won’t be one tomorrow)
I think that’s about it right now. I’m feeling awfully tired, and Jay’s trying to get me off his laptop so he can answer e-mails and finish something for work. I’ll be with you all soon!
