Top Ten Best Love Songs

Time for another re-post from my old blog, guys. This one I orginally wrote in June when I had read when it was the month for weddings. If only I stumbled upon this close to Valentine’s Day. Oh Well. We’ll make do with this guys!

Since it is the month of weddings, these are my best 10 love songs that I just love (or happen to think are great). If you don’t agree, then tell me what love songs you enjoy.

10. Lovesong by The Cure

How can you deny a song about love called “LOVESONG”. This song is simply beautiful and makes me feel all lovey.

9. Iris by Goo Goo Dolls

How much love can you have then that? This song is so pretty, and heartfelt I can help but tear up a little from the love coming out of it.

8. Take My Hand by Simple Plan

This song screams, “don’t worry it’ll be okay cause I love you.” It’s a song about something that can happen when people say “you don’t belong with each other”. Singing this says “screw you we’re in love!”. How could you not just love this song for that?

7. Bed of Roses by Bon Jovi

The lyrics are just gorgeous, and even though you can feel some sadness, it’s still so nice to slow dance to. This song just breathes love all over.

6. Everlong by Foo Fighters

A song about like…eternal love? Whoa, that just has to be on the list. You’ve waited forever…how sweet.

5. Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper

How can you describe this song other than one you just want to lay with your love in bed and and hold their hand?

4. Fallin’ by Alicia Keys

This song, even though it may not be the happiest still shows love, even if it isn’t perfect. Isn’t that lovely…love with imperfection.

3. Hey There Dehlilah by Plain White T’s

The portrait of young love. There’s nothing I can say that can give a reason for this song to be on the list justice.

2. My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion

Perhaps the ultimate love song. It seems this song just means love, and actually….it does.

1. Darling I Do by Landon Pigg and Lucy Schwartz

This song says it all. It’s saying how nothing’s the same without this person, and how no one can see or love them the way they do. Not only does the duet make it beautiful, but just the devotion in the lyrics of how nothing’s the same once you meet….the one.
